How You
Can Help
Ways You Can Support Our Mission
You can help provide affordable housing for low-income families in several ways:
Donate Materials – Give new or gently used items to our ReStore.
Shop at ReStore – Every purchase helps fund Habitat projects.
Volunteer Your Time – Join us at our construction site or in the ReStore.
Make a Financial Donation – Support Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity directly.
Shop Online with Amazon Smile – When you shop at Amazon Smile, 0.5% of your purchase will be donated back to our Habitat affiliate. Simply sign in with your Amazon account and shop as usual.
Establish a Charitable Fund – Create a lasting impact by setting up a charitable fund to support our work.
Volunteer with Us
We welcome individuals, faith groups, and businesses to join us in making a difference. By volunteering, you play a vital role in helping families achieve their dream of homeownership.
Where You Can Volunteer
Construction Site – No experience needed! Volunteers are always needed for ongoing Habitat building projects.
ReStore – Support our mission by helping in our ReStore.
Age Requirements & Waivers
All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Waivers are required for everyone on the worksite:
Adults (18+) can sign on-site.
Youth (under 18) must have a waiver signed by both the volunteer and a parent/legal guardian. Youth waiver forms are available on-site.

Ages 16–17: May assist with general carpentry tasks (e.g., hammering, insulation). They may not do excavation, demolition, roofing, work above 6 feet, or use power tools.
Safety Requirements
All youth must wear proper safety equipment for their assigned tasks.
All volunteers, regardless of age, must wear appropriate clothing, including thick-soled, closed-toed shoes.
Shop at Our ReStore
When you shop at our ReStore, you’re helping build homes! All net proceeds directly support the construction of Habitat homes in our community.
Volunteer at Our ReStore
Your time and talents make a big difference. We’re currently looking for:
Driver Assistants (Tuesdays) – Help pick up donations.
Customer Service Representatives (Wednesdays–Saturdays) – Assist customers with purchases during ReStore hours.
For both positions, volunteers should be friendly, courteous, and comfortable moving heavy items with hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks. Training is provided.
Join Our Board
We’re growing—and we need strong leaders to guide our organization into the future. Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 PM at the ReStore, 1519 Baldy Park Road. Meetings are open to the public—come see how you can contribute your skills and energy to our mission!
Make a Financial Gift
Our biggest challenge is raising the funds needed to build homes. You can help by making a donation to Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity. We rely on generous support from individuals, faith groups, local businesses, and ReStore sales to keep building hope.
Donations can be sent to:
